Ecole Internationale Bilingue – Paris 🇫🇷

We had our 3 presentations by Andrey today and I just want to point out how great he was: dynamic, fun, polite! Our IB students loved him and his presentations.

North London Collegiate School (Singapore) 🇸🇬

It was lovely meeting you, the students were all buzzing after your talk. It would be great to keep in touch for future talks.

Advanced Learning Schools (ALS) 🇸🇦

I just wanted to thank you for recommending Andrey for the presentation with our DP2 students. His delivery was friendly, thoughtful, and completely tuned into what they needed.
What impressed me even more was how engaged the students were; they stayed focused for a full 45 minutes, which, as you know, isn’t an easy task with this generation. They genuinely enjoyed listening to him. The tips he shared, especially the ones that came from his own experience, clearly resonated and added real value to the session.

International School Brescia 🇮🇹

Thank you very much for today’s session. It was excellent, and I am sure our students can relate to your experiences and the practical tips you shared with them.  I truly appreciate Lanterna for arranging it for our students!

Mirabal Internacional School 🇪🇸

The students were delighted. I only heard positive feedback from them and you spent a great deal of time explaining everything and answering questions. You demonstrated a great deal of patience and kindness.
As for the rest of us, we were all extremely impressed by your presentation. It was excellent and you demonstrated fantastic insight and communication skills. Honestly I am bowled over by your ability to address the needs of your audience.

Yes—there’s no cost and no strings attached. We have been offering these presentations for free for over 10 years.

Lanterna started as an IB CAS project in 2004 and these presentations are part of our mission to help IB students reach their full potential. We also believe it is a great way to introduce Lanterna to schools and students in a low-pressure, useful way.

No. We cover all travel and accommodation expenses for our presenters. Since our presenters are spread around the world (across 4 continents) these costs are usually minimal.

A curated team (around 15) of enthusiastic IB graduates who scored 40+ and are now at top universities globally. They act as role-models to students since they’re close enough to the IB experience to be relatable, but experienced enough to teach what actually works.

Yes, this is usually the case when there is no time available to do 2 separate presentations. We have special presentations that focus on more general study skills to cater to several cohorts at the same time.

Yes. We adjust the emphasis based on what’s happening for your students—mocks, IA/EE deadlines, coursework pressure, university applications, or final exams. We want to know the current context of students in order to make our presentations as impactful as possible.

We try to make them as interactive as possible. We use live polls/quizzes and quick check-ins so students participate rather than passively listen—this usually drives better attention and retention.

We offer both. Online is the easiest to schedule globally; in-person is usually preferred but requires organizing in advance to fit.

Usually 45–60 minutes plus an optional Q&A. We can shorten to fit assemblies or extend if your school prefers.

We deliver presentations to cohorts ranging from 5 students to 200 students. We adapt delivery to the setting.

If in-person, we just need a projector and hdmi cable, and a microphone if the audience is large. If online, your preferred platform (Zoom/Teams/Meet). It is helpful for the students to have their phones with them so they can participate in our interactive activities (polls & quizzes).

Yes. We encourage you to tell us your current pain points, we’ll align examples and priorities accordingly.

No. The presentations are strictly focused on study skills and advice. We tell students if they want to learn more they can research us later.

We keep the session focused on value for students. If students/parents want to learn more afterwards, we share optional links/resources—no hard sell.

Yes. We focus on effective learning, exam technique, time management, and wellbeing—never shortcuts or anything that violates IB academic integrity.

Common times are: start of year (reset + habits), mid-year (motivation + balance), and end-of-year (exam readiness + summer planning, especially for DP1). But we run sessions year-round.

Absolutely. Many schools start with one cohort and expand once they see the impact.
